Daniel B. Marshall

Daniel B. Marshall, a relatively new face to music at 23 years old, is the artist to watch for today on his way to the top. His songs are bold, his energy on stage is inviting, and his charisma with people is entertaining. He has impressed many on his journey across the world, and he continues to perform his best consistently at every engagement.
He got his start in Panama City, FL, where he spent most of his teenage years playing at restaurants, weddings, and churches while not in school. During his classical studies at the University of South Florida, Daniel and his band the Daniel B. Marshall Band received an offer to play for Backstreet Boy Nick Carter during his solo career. With this opportunity, the band went across the world and onto the highest rated TV shows, including Britain's #1 "Top of the Pops", MTV's "Total Request Live", and ABC's "The Regis and Kelly Show." While traveling around the world, they played alongside the likes of Celine Dion, Gwen Stafani, Norah Jones, and many others. During his endeavors, Daniel moved to Nashville, TN and made a home there. After parting with the tour, Daniel traveled as a solo artist and played guitar for Lyric Street Record's Ashley Gearing (www.ashleygearing.com), which put him on the same stage with some of the biggest artists and musicians in country music (Kid Rock, Sarah Evans, Jo Dee Messina).
A Daniel B. Marshall concert is an experience that takes you from rocking hits to driven ballads, from slow acoustic numbers to funky grooves. The band that plays with Daniel is almost identical to the same band he has played with for years, including the Nick Carter tour. Long-time musical partner and friend Alicia Crawford plays the bass, Andy Pardue plays lead guitars, and original Daniel B. Marshall Band member Noel Bisesti plays the drums in this tight ensemble of musicians. Daniel theorizes "You can't make truly emotional music in my opinion without having an emotional connection to your musicians. The joy and pain we have all been through together has made us so much closer than just musical buddies. We truly know each other inside out, and I think we reflect that we when strike the chords."
As Daniel's fan base continues to grow through quick word-of-mouth, people are getting to know who this new artist is. While comparing him to others doesn't do anyone justice, fans of emotionally-educated artists like James Taylor, Sting, and John Mayer will appreciate the feel and heart put in to each song of Daniel's. "I just hope that maybe my songs one day can make a difference in someone's life," says Daniel. "I grew up sitting by my mom's loudspeakers which pumped out James Taylor records, and it really made quite a difference in my daily activities. I just hope I can do the same for someone else."
